Hi there, I created this page for gymnasts and their parents. As a 2 time former Olympic gymnast, and a coach for over 25+ years,I know many young gymnasts dealing with injuries, pain and stress. I can tell you one thing,I wish yoga was available for me when I was a gymnast. About 8 years ago,yoga and meditation helped me to recover from back pain and other body stiffness that I couldn’t release since the 90’s.
I created a short free yoga ebook called “ Mindful Moves “that can start helping you now (or your child) to ease your pain, stress and prevent injuries. The book includes a step by step guide with pictures, videos and benefits of each pose as well as a 30 day yoga and meditation tracker. I talk about how yoga and meditation can help gymnasts and why you should do it.
